Ravinia Rebrand
Ravinia is an outdoor venue located in the Chicagoland area, in Highland Park, IL. It is a historic venue established in 1904, and serves as a community center. It is only open during the summer season, and they have a diverse roster of performers over the course of 4 months (June-September). They also contribute to local music efforts like providing instrument lessons for children.
My reason for rebrand is to unify all of their materials and appeal to a younger audience since the current audience is a little older.

Ravinia’s current logo pulls from interesting architecture, which is why I appropriated for my final logo as well. The final product includes the main logo and wordmark with 8 icons that represent the different venues. The colors are warm and earthy to represent community. There is a wide range of colors to represent the many different genres of music the venues shows. I created a series of posters that could be used as wild postings. I wanted to show a variety of posters because the venue is near Chicago and I wanted to emulate pasted posters on building walls. I created a mockup poster that shows some uses of the new brand identity. These are just examples of how the branding can be applied to their materials.
